This is not the first time the Shop has gone through a pandemic. Three years after its opening in 1919, the Spanish Flu pandemic hit in 1922.
In order to keep our volunteers and customers safe, we are diligently following the MA Governor's and Topsfield's Health Agent's regulations:
All customers and volunteers must wear a mask. We also offer a hand sanitizer station at the entrance of the shop and plastic gloves are available upon request
There are plexi-glass partitions in front of both the consignment and thrift shop desks
No more than 14 people can be in the shop at any time
There are arrows on the floor showing how to circulate around the shop
We encourage customers to move along rather than taking prolonged periods of time for conversation
The surface areas in the shop are cleaned twice a day
Consignment and donation items are hung for two days before they are processed
